Quick Overview
About the Nest Video Doorbell
The Nest Video Doorbell, formerly known as Nest Hello, is a smart doorbell that allows you to see and speak to visitors from anywhere using your phone. It offers 24/7 streaming, providing continuous video recording of your doorstep, and can send alerts for people, motion, and sound. This device is ideal for homeowners who want constant surveillance of their front door and seamless integration with other Nest or Google Home smart devices.
Before purchasing, consider that while the doorbell itself is a one-time cost, accessing the 24/7 continuous video recording and advanced features like familiar face alerts typically requires a Nest Aware subscription. Ensure your home's existing doorbell wiring is compatible, as this model is designed for wired installation. Evaluate if the subscription cost aligns with your budget and security needs.
