Quick Overview
About the ecobee SmartSensor 2-Pack
The ecobee SmartSensor 2-Pack extends the capabilities of your ecobee smart thermostat by providing additional temperature and occupancy readings in different rooms. These small, wireless sensors help your thermostat maintain a more balanced temperature throughout your home by averaging readings from multiple locations, rather than just where the thermostat is located. They are ideal for homes with uneven heating/cooling, multiple levels, or rooms that are frequently too hot or too cold.
Before buying, ensure you already own a compatible ecobee smart thermostat, as these sensors do not function independently. While they improve comfort, their effectiveness depends on proper placement to accurately reflect the temperature and occupancy of key areas. Consider where temperature discrepancies are most noticeable in your home to maximize their benefit.
